HALOGEN PETROCHEM is a sole proprietorship small scale manufacturing
concern promoted by Anil J. Doshi in 1978 to manufacture pharmaceutical
intermediates. Since 1985, the company diversified in the manufacture of
specialty textile processing auxiliaries based on its own R & D
formulations.
Anil Doshi holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from
prestigious I.I.T., Mumbai. After graduation in 1969, he proceeded to
U.S.A. for M.S. in Chemical Engineering at University of Cincinnati,
Ohio, U.S.A. After completing formal education, he worked for a
detergent manufacturing unit at Chicago, illinois and at Hooker Chemical
Corporation, at Niagara Falls, N.Y. facility in their Central Product
Improvement and Development Department for over four years.
Halogen Petrochem was established in 1978 in the backward area of
Maharashtra State and started operation in 1978. Mr. Kamal Srivastav, a
chemical engineer who had just graduated from one of the oldest and
prestigious Chemical Engineering Institute in India, viz. LIT, Nagpur
joined the company. It is with the joint efforts and zeal for
diversifying into textile processing field, we developed product
formulations (Textile Chemicals and Textile Dyes) with better performance.
It is our firm belief that textile processing is a challenging field,
offering various opportunities for development due to development in
fibre, yarn and weaving technology. Our products have been developed
with different approaches to meet demand of industry, considering the
processing at the micro level to yield better results.
